Tour of Casabe Factory Monción is the Casabe production Capital of the Dominican Republic. This unique bread, made from yuca root (aka cassava or manioc), was adopted from the Taino people- indigenous of the island. Watch the process of how it is made and buy some samples to take home with you!

Motorcycle Riding Take out our two motorcycles to the river or dam on dirt roads or paved, depending on your mood. Visit the rainforests or dryforests of the backcountry and search for parrots and butterflies.

Walk up to the top of the hill to El Cerro Bar and learn how to dance Merengue! Enjoy the music and drinks all night long!

Trip to the River So much better than the beach! Refreshing salt-free water and rocks for jumping, shade and sun, lunch and fun! After a short ride, arrive at the river where you can bathe and relax before eating a traditional "fogon" meal cooked on top of three rocks and a fire.

Take a ride up to the backcountry of the Dominican Republic. In the mountains of the cibao you will be taken back by the gorgeous view and fresh, fresh air. Hike around the forests and streams and meet the village farmers of Jicome. Relax at the simple cabin and eat a picnic lunch.

Trip to Santiago
An hour drive will take you to the nearby city of Santiago, the city of the "30 gentlemen." Take a ride on a horse-driven carriage or take a tour of the monument. At Mercado Modelo you can find bargain deals on souvenirs ranging from spiced rum to paintings to amber. In the streets you will find a food market with fresh vegetables and fruit where you will enjoy the crowded streets and daily culture of the Dominican City.
