LAS ANAS AnaJulia is the first of the Anas. She is the owner and caretaker of the bed and breakfast. AnaJulia provides all of the comforts of home including the delicious meals and laundry service. Julia is very open and though she speaks little English she is patient and understanding. Julia organizes the trips and activities through her many family connections. She is amazing with small children and keeps the facility in tip top shape.
Ana Maria is Ana Julia's daughter and is our onsite babysitter. She is learning English and also loves to teach Spanish phrases. You will learn a lot with her! Anita is the third of the Anas. She grew up in the Dominican Republic with her family and Julia and speaks fluent Spanish and English. She is the Administrative Manager of Casa De Las Anas and tries to visit frequently.  THE ECKERTS Casa De Las Anas is owned by Penelope and David Eckert,
from Seattle, Washington in the United States. After living for over 2
years in the backcountry of the Dominican Republic, they purchased a
property for vacations in Moncion. Their good friend AnaJulia now lives
there and runs the Bed and Breakfast.
